This salad recipe is what we use often. Avocado lime salad is a fresh and healthy salad with avocado in lime juice. For this salad you can use Romaine or ricola lettuce or any lettuce of choice! This salad fits in plenty of diets and is light food with low carbs. Before we start with this salad, we prepare our dressing first! Our dressing for this recipe is with olive oil, vinegar, fresh ginger and mustard. When you shake well before use, you can mix this first through your lettuce.
For this recipe you can use bags of lettuce of fresh lettuce. For this recipe we use Romaine which is already rinsed in a bag. We rinse our romaine lettuce before use!
We give our Avocado lime salad a mediterranean touch! We add mixed olives, feta and sundried tomatoes to the bowl. As well we are using hard boiled eggs! In combination with our homemade dressing, this is a great salad. So whenever you are on a diet or have to eat low carbs, this salad is low in calories!
