This recipe taste the best when you prepare this the evening before use! Creamy blue cheese dip will taste better when you prepare and serve at the same time! Please see our instructions below for this recipe.

Creamy Crème fraîche
To make this dip creamy, we are using for this recipe Crème fraîche. This is a culinary cream to make sauces more creamy. This product is often used in Europe for other cooking recipes like soup or baking. When you are not familiar with this product, you can use sour cream as well. This is not the same, only you can exchange lemon juice for water. Otherwise this recipe becomes too sour!
Mild blue cheese
When people hear Blue cheese then it is blue cheese! Well, there are many types of blue cheese on the market! We prefer for this recipe French or English blue cheese! We use St. Agur or Blue Stilton. St. agur is French and mild. Roquefort is another one, but is spicy! So we only use this when we know we have a crowd for it! Blue Stilton is English and we use this type of blue cheese for cheese platters as well! What we do is marinade Blue Stilton in Port or Tennesee honey whiskey. That’s why Blue Stilton is famous for.
