In the future our catering service will offer Dutch apple pie spices online. For this recipe you can use cinnamon.

After I have finished apple pie filling, I will mix this with butter sauce. This makes apples and raisins more soft and creamy! Butter sauce is a mix of melted butter wit egg yolks, cornstarch and sugar. The last part is to use make a flat piece of dough (1\2 inch thick) and fill the ring with dough. The bottom of the dough needs almond flour or bread crumbs. This is to absorb the butter sauce. Then I can finish the pie with apple pie mix. On top I brush the apple cubes withs apricot jam and I am baking Mini apple pie deluxe recipe in 25 minutes!
