Ingredients

  • 12 Large free range eggs or organic
  • 3 tbsp Cream cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp Dill weed tops
  • 10 drops Maggi seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 3 pinch Coarse salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp Mayonnaise

Creamy Easter deviled eggs

Creamy Easter deviled eggs is one of the most delicious treat for Easter. You can use them for breakfast, brunch or a appetizer. This recipe is based on cream cheese which giving this stuffed egg recipe a creamy taste! For this recipe you need a food processor, pipping bag and a nozzle of choice! For this recipe I recommend to use free range eggs or organic. These are easier to peel after boiling.

Direction

  1. Use a large pot and boil 12 medium sized free range eggs. When the water boils, set your timer on 11 minutes!
  2. Rinse the boiled eggs with cold tap water and let it rest for about 3 minutes to cool off.
  3. Burst each egg under water first and peel them.  After peeling put them back into cold water until use.
  4. Use a food processor and mince a small onion.
  5. Cut the eggs in half and add the egg yolks in the food processor. Lay each egg white shell on a tray or container. When you use a deviled egg tray, cover this with plastic film or close the lid of the container.
  6. Pulse egg yolks with minced onions for about 20 to 30 times until you see the egg yolks crumbles.
  7. Add dill weed tops, Maggi seasoning, white pepper, sugar, salt and Dijon mustard. Give this a couple of pulses until incorporated.
  8. Finish this recipe with creamcheese and mayonnaise. Mix this with your food processor until creamy!
  9. Put your deviled egg cream in a piping bag with nozzle of choice. Store this cream  in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Fill every shell with cream.
  10. Garnish with mayonnaise or use tangerine fruit parts. This is optional.
