- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp Crème fraîche culinairy cream
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp Chopped pickles or cornishons
- 1 tsp White wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Chopped capers
- 1/2 tsp Fresh grated sea salt
- 1/2 tsp Fresh grated white pepper
- 10 drops Tabasco hotsauce
- 1 tsp Lemon juice (Fresh)
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 tbsp Chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 tbsp Fresh grated parmsan reggiano cheese
Creamy tartar sauce recipe
When you have crispy fried fish or shrimp for dinner or snack, we have our Creamy tartar sauce recipe for you. Our recipe is taste fresh and it is homemade. This sauce have alot of fresh ingredients. When you make this sauce fresh, you will never buy tartar sauce at the store anymore! For this recipe we are using mayonnaise and Crème fraîche. This makes it more creamy and a little less mayonnaise. Our catering service does serve this recipe with crispy fried cod fish, and other fried fish. Please see our recipe below.
Mix 4 tbsp of mayonnaise with 1 1/2 tbsp Crème fraîche culinairy cream until creamy.
Whisk 1 tsp of dijon mustard and 1 tsp white wine vinegar until incorporated
Add 2 tbsp chopped pickles or cornishons. Mix this with a spoon with mayonnaise cream.
Then add 1 tbsp of chopped capers and 1 tsp white wine vinegar. Mix this with the same spoon.
- Add 1 1/2 tbsp fresh grated parmasan reggiano cheese
The last part is to give the creamy tartar sauce recipe more flavor! Add 1/2 tsp of fresh grated sea salt, white pepper, lemon juice, lemon zest and 8 to 10 drops of Tabasco hotsauce.
Mix all ingredients with a spoon until incorporated.
