Turmeric egg salad
This creamy turmeric egg salad is good for many occassions. You can use this for lunch, high tea sandwiches and canapes. We do advice you to use good quality of eggs for this recipe. We use Omega 3 free range eggs. You can use organic as well. Make sure these eggs are hard boiled. This is the basic of this recipe. The creamy part is of this recipe are mayonnaise and Crème fraîche.
This recipe needs some condiments for flavor, fresh dill and turmeric. Measure all ingredients up front and use an egg slicer as well. With that you can slice your eggs horizontal and vertical. Don’t use a mixer! Only a medium sized bowl and a spoon.
Cream egg salad with turmeric and fresh dill
Slice 4 hard boiled eggs horizontal and vertical. Put the sliced eggs in a medium size bowl and stir with a fork.
whisk in a seperate bowl, 1 tbsp mayonnaise and 1 tbsp of crème fraîche until creamy.
Add 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill, 1/2 tsp dijon mustard, 8 drops of worcestershire sauce. Chop 1 medium sized shallot onion and add to the eggs.
Use 2 pinches of sea salt, 2 pinches fresh grated pepper and 1/2 tsp turmeric spices. Whisk all ingredients well with the sliced eggs.
For garnishing turmeric egg salad, you can use an extra hard boiled egg, fresh chopped dill and onion.
Use a container to store the egg salad in the refrigerator. Shelf life for this salad is 3 days after preparing this salad.
